Seabee Memorial Garden / Monument at Wildcat Park, Ludlow, Pennsylvania

This Seabee Memorial garden with boulder and plaque was created by Kane Lawn & Garden to honor U.S. Navy Seabees of the past, present and future. This monument was coordinated by the Chautauqua Region SEABEE Veterans of America, Island X-l 1 New York and donated to the park. Ludlow Community Association President Catherine Stewart expressed her gratitude and said she was grateful the garden was placed in Wildcat Park. Commander Roland A. Swanson of NSVA Island X-ll said “I wish more Americans would look back and see the sacrifice made. They might better appreciate the precious freedoms we have. The Seabees are a Grand Accomplishment.”

Driving Directions

Take Highway US 6 south from Warren or north from Kane Pennsylvania. This garden area is located at the east end of the park near the exit gate of Whitmore Road off Route 6.
